Good morning, weather enthusiasts! Buckle up as we ride the wave of today’s forecast, straight from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi.
So, here’s the scoop: there’s a weak little trough of low pressure having a cozy lie-down over the eastern parts of Fiji. It’s spicing things up with those charming southeasterly breezes – guess they didn’t get the memo that they’re supposed to be on vacation! Meanwhile, another moody trough is making its way towards Fiji from the west, ready to unleash its cloud and rain – talk about party crashing. Expect it to arrive fashionably late on Tuesday afternoon.
As for today’s weather for the Fiji group, think “overcast chic” with some brief, surprise showers in Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, and all those idyllic smaller islands. The folks in Southern Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni, and nearby smaller islands, along with the Lau and Lomaiviti groups, will also be served a side of clouds and showers. Elsewhere? Well, it’s mainly fine, like that one friend who always shows up looking fabulous.
In terms of wind, we’ll have moderate southeasterlies turning northeasterly later – it’s like they’re switching dance partners! Seas? Moderate today, but looking like they might get a bit rough tomorrow.

For Navua/Suva/Nausori: You’ll see some cloudy moments with occasional showers. Temperatures will be cozy, with a low of 22 and a high reaching up to 28. Tomorrow? Rain is on the menu for later in the day.
Over in Nadi/Lautoka/Ba: Mainly fine and fabulous weather, with temperatures hanging out between 21 and 29. Just a heads up – Tuesday will bring some afternoon rain.
Sigatoka/Coral Coast peeps can expect a main course of fine weather, with temperatures similarly landing between 21 and 29. Rain? It’s coming for you on Tuesday as well!
Tavua/Rakiraki: You guys also receive mainly fine weather. Temperatures will be the same, from 21 to 29, but don’t forget those raindrops are expected Tuesday.
For Natadradave/Korovou: There are cloudy periods with occasional showers enhancing your day. Expect a cozy range of 22 to 28. The rain makes a comeback tomorrow!
Yasawa/Mamanuca group sees mainly fine conditions too! With temperatures sitting between 21 (snuggle mode) and 29, your Tuesday also promises a sprinkle of rain.
Labasa is living its best life under mainly fine conditions with a cool night to enjoy. It’s a delightful range of 20 to 30, though rain is expected to join the party Tuesday.
Savusavu gets some cloudy periods with showers, serving up highs of 28 and lows of 22. Keep your umbrellas handy for tomorrow’s rain.
In Lau and Lomaiviti Group, expect cloudy periods with a side of brief showers at 22 to 30 degrees. Spoiler alert: rain is on the guest list tomorrow!
Kadavu: Sunny spells to start but cloudy periods with some showers are on the way too. Expect temperatures to range from 22 to 30. Don’t worry; rain is developing for Tuesday as well.
Finally, for our friends on Rotuma: Enjoy those easterly winds and the cloudy atmosphere. With temperatures hanging around 25 to 30, expect a few showers for Tuesday to spice things up just a bit.
