The initiative involves random sweeps aimed at providing assistance to those in need, particularly families found begging with children.
During these operations, families encountered on the streets were offered food rations and facilitated safe returns to their homes, emphasizing the government’s commitment to ensuring the welfare of its citizens. Additionally, a senior citizen discovered living on the streets was given the option to secure care at the Golden Age Home, reflecting the authorities’ dedication to vulnerable populations.
Parents and guardians have been reminded of their crucial responsibility to oversee their children’s safety, especially during school holidays when children may be more vulnerable. Children found wandering unsupervised in public areas will be taken to safety, with parents or guardians subsequently receiving visits and counseling aimed at supporting child well-being.
