This year’s Fiji Sports Awards promises to be a momentous occasion, featuring the nomination of 112 athletes and officials across 22 sports, an increase from last year’s 98 nominees. Scheduled for March 22 at the Vodafone Arena in Suva, the 2024 Awards will honor Fiji’s top sporting talents, ranging from grassroots athletes to international champions, recognizing their dedication, perseverance, and achievements.

Peter Mazey, the chief executive of the Fiji Sports Commission, expressed excitement about the record number of nominations, highlighting the significant accomplishments of Fijian athletes who made remarkable strides during the Paris Olympics, Paris Paralympics, and various international and regional tournaments.
