They secured a remarkable 104-run win against the previously unbeaten Cook Islands, stirring up the competition and keeping the fight for the top position wide open.
Apete Sokovagone stood out in the match, scoring 62 runs off 37 balls and earning the Man of the Match title. Captain Peni Vuniwaqa contributed significantly with 30 runs from 15 balls, helping to establish Fiji’s dominant total. The team’s youngest player, 17-year-old Joeli Moala, also shone, taking 2 wickets for just 9 runs.
