Fiji Schoolboys Shine Again: Victory Over Australia Secures Series Win

The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys U18 achieved a notable victory over their Australian rivals for the second time, winning the match 34-25 at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

After suffering a 26-14 defeat to Fiji last week, the Australian team was eager for redemption and started strong, taking an early 10-0 lead thanks to a converted try and a penalty.

However, the Fiji Schoolboys responded impressively, scoring three tries from Waisake Vakacere, Raymond Navunikaba, and Ratu Epeli Roseruvakula. Isikeli Bari added a penalty, allowing Fiji to secure a 22-10 advantage at halftime.

In the second half, the Australian Schoolboys came out with renewed determination, scoring ten points to reduce the gap to just two. Despite their efforts, Fiji managed to seal their victory with tries from winger Nathan Stephens and Asaeli Gade, clinching the two-match series.
