The Vodafone Fiji Schoolboys Under-18 team has etched its name in the history of Fiji Rugby by defeating the Australian Schoolboys with a score of 26-14. This victory marks the first occasion that a Fiji under-18 team has triumphed over their Australian counterparts.

Team captain Anare Tabakaucoro expressed that their dedication and diligent preparation had borne fruit in this match. Meanwhile, Australian captain Edward Baxter noted the difficulties faced due to a quick turnaround, as his team arrived the night before the game.

The Fijian squad displayed impressive performance by scoring four tries compared to Australia’s two, clinching a momentous win. Their next match is scheduled for Tuesday at 6 PM at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
