Applications for the Semester 1, 2025 enrollment at the Fiji National University (FNU) College of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences (CMNHS) are now open. The university is welcoming applications for a range of undergraduate and graduate healthcare programs.
Dr. Amelia Turagabeci, the Acting Dean of CMNHS, emphasized FNU’s commitment to equipping students for success. She mentioned that students can now officially register, and while the admissions committee will thoroughly review each application, prospective students are encouraged to start their enrollment process early. The final enrollment decisions will be determined after the external examination results are released.
Dr. Turagabeci pointed out that in previous years, some qualified candidates missed out on their preferred programs due to late enrollment. Therefore, it is advised that students complete their enrollment within the specified timeframe to avoid disappointment.
The college aims to develop highly qualified medical professionals who can significantly contribute to Fiji’s healthcare system. It offers a detailed curriculum designed to provide students with both theoretical understanding and practical skills necessary for their chosen fields.
Dr. Turagabeci expressed excitement about welcoming the upcoming generation of healthcare leaders to CMNHS, highlighting that the programs are designed to produce graduates who not only possess academic qualifications but also demonstrate empathy and a desire to serve their communities.
Interested applicants can submit their applications online through the FNU website, contact the Academic Team via email, or visit the nearest FNU campus. For additional information, students can text (Toll-Free) 857 for Vodafone and Inkk users. The deadline for applications is October 31, 2024.
