The Ministry of Fiji Immigration has issued a public notice identifying individuals sought for immigration-related violations, particularly those who have absconded in violation of Section 13(2)(a) of the Immigration Act 2003. In a notice published in daily newspapers, the ministry revealed the details of 20 persons, who hail from Bangladesh, Kiribati, Tuvalu, and the Philippines.

This announcement is part of the ongoing efforts by the authorities to enforce immigration regulations within Fiji. The notice, listed under the Immigration Wanted List, calls on the public to assist in locating the individuals by providing any relevant information to the Ministry.

The proactive measure highlights the importance of compliance with Fiji’s immigration laws and aims to strengthen enforcement actions. By engaging the community in this effort, the Ministry hopes to foster a sense of responsibility and vigilance regarding immigration matters, ultimately contributing to the safety and integrity of Fiji’s borders.
