The minister shared personal reflections on his admiration for referees, recalling how he closely observed their decisions while being a passionate football fan. He also recognized the ongoing support of long-time patrons like Justice Sir Moti Tikaram and former President of Fiji, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, whose guidance has been crucial in the association’s growth.
