The recent Maritime Zone competition, held at HFC Bank Stadium, has revealed outstanding performances, with athletes from the outer islands achieving competitive times that promise a thrilling contest for medals. Colati emphasized the innovative strategies utilized by these athletes, suggesting they are turning their circumstances into advantages, a lesson for all schools involved.

In the culmination of the recent Maritime Zone championships, Vunisea Secondary School earned accolades in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions, reinforcing the growing success of island schools in athletics.

With the Fiji Finals set to begin on April 24 and concluding on the 26th, excitement is in the air. The event aims to showcase and celebrate athletic talent from across Fiji, with over 1,000 athletes expected to compete.
