The Fiji Meteorological Service has issued a weather update indicating that rain is set to spread across most regions of the country tomorrow. A heavy rain alert is currently in effect for several areas, including Vanua Levu, the Yasawa and Mamanuca Groups, and parts of Viti Levu, particularly from Momi to Nadi, as well as Lautoka, Ba, and the interior regions of Ba, Ra, Nadroga/Navosa, Serua/Namosi, Naitasiri, and Tailevu Provinces.

According to the report, a trough of low pressure bringing cloud and rain is currently affecting the Western and Northern parts of Fiji. This weather pattern is expected to gradually cover the remaining areas by tomorrow. Residents can expect occasional rain, with the potential for heavy downpours and isolated thunderstorms.

Authorities are warning of possible impacts, including flash flooding in low-lying areas and decreased visibility on the roads, which may affect travelers and commuters.

As always, it is important for residents to stay informed about weather conditions and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during heavy rainfall events. Staying alert and ready can help mitigate the impacts of severe weather.

Overall, while these weather conditions may pose challenges, communities can come together to support one another and navigate through the heavy rainfall, demonstrating resilience and unity in the face of adversity.
