A recent trade event in Australia has resulted in over 20 export leads, signaling a rising demand for Fijian products. Fiji’s High Commissioner to Australia, Ajay Bhai Amrit, emphasized the importance of blending diplomacy with trade and investment as a strategy for growth. He noted that ongoing promotion and the building of relationships are yielding concrete benefits for local businesses.

The event showcased a diverse array of both established and budding Fijian brands, including Fiji Water, Bula Premium Kava, Fiji Bitter, Fiji Gold Beer, Fiji Fire Bongo Chilli Sauce, Blue Turtle Gin, and EPC Solar, in collaboration with ACT-based partners. Amrit remarked that such initiatives not only bolster Fiji-Australia trade relations but also pave the way for new market opportunities for Fijian exporters.

This positive momentum reflects a concerted effort to enhance Fiji’s presence in the international market, reinforcing the nation’s reputation for quality products and fostering economic growth.
