Fiji Airways has announced the appointment of Captain Etika Tuisue as its new Chief Pilot and Flight Operations Officer, effective August 1, 2025. Captain Tuisue, who joined the airline in 2004, boasts over two decades of aviation experience and has previously held several key leadership positions, including Manager of Flight Operations Training, Fleet Manager, and Deputy Chief Pilot.
In his new role, Captain Tuisue will be responsible for managing pilot operations and ensuring flight safety, crew performance, and the refinement of operational procedures across the airline’s expanding international network. He will also contribute to the Executive Leadership Team, focusing on fleet expansion and pilot development, emphasizing a commitment to operational excellence and safety standards.
