Fiji Airways has announced the appointment of Captain Etika Tuisue as its new Chief Pilot and Flight Operations Officer, effective immediately. With over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, Captain Tuisue has held several leadership roles at the airline, including Manager of Flight Operations Training, Fleet Manager, and Deputy Chief Pilot since joining in 2004.

His new responsibilities include overseeing pilot operations, managing flight safety, crew performance, and refining operational procedures as Fiji Airways expands its international routes. Additionally, he will be an integral part of the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to fleet expansion and pilot development efforts.

The Managing Director and CEO of Fiji Airways, Andre Viljoen, expressed his confidence in Captain Tuisue’s capabilities, highlighting his deep understanding of the airline’s operations and his commitment to nurturing local aviation talent.
