The Fiji 7s team, under the guidance of coach Osea Kolinisau, has achieved remarkable success in the early season of the HSBC SVNS Series. Following their impressive performances in Dubai and Cape Town, where they secured a gold medal with 20 points in Dubai and a bronze medal with 16 points in Cape Town, Fiji leads the standings with a total of 36 points.

Currently sitting in second place is Spain with 32 points, while France and South Africa are tied in third and fourth positions with 30 points each. New Zealand ranks sixth with 24 points.

As the teams take a break before gearing up for the Perth 7s in early 2024, Fiji’s strong start has set a positive tone for the rest of the series. Their continued success could inspire confidence and momentum moving forward, as they aim to maintain their top position in the rankings.
