This year’s primary school inter-district championship showcased remarkable skills and talent, according to Dinamani Mudaliar, president of the Fiji Primary School Football Association. Mudaliar noted a significant improvement in the level of play, which resulted in thrilling finishes and tightly contested matches.
“The scorelines indicate that the margins are quite close,” Mudaliar remarked. “Most matches have concluded with scores like 2-1 or even ends in draws,” he added. He emphasized that this trend reflects a more competitive environment than in past years.
“In previous seasons, stronger teams often had the upper hand, but this year has brought unexpected draws and narrow wins, indicating that the gap between the leading teams and their competitors is closing,” he explained.
He urged fans and supporters to come out in full force today to back their teams.
