The Ministry of Education is nearing the completion of payment processing for personnel involved in the upcoming 2025 national examinations. This includes roles such as coders, supervisors, and markers for Years 8, 12, and 13.
In a recent statement, the Permanent Secretary expressed gratitude for the “professionalism and unwavering commitment” exhibited by the thousands of officers who supported this year’s examinations. The Ministry is making it a priority to release all outstanding allowances promptly.
According to the Ministry, considerable progress has been made, with most examination workers already compensated. However, delays in some of the remaining payments have occurred primarily due to documentation issues. In response, the Ministry is collaborating with heads of schools and divisional education officers to address these concerns.
To facilitate quicker transactions in the future, the Ministry is recommending that personnel facing bank-related documentation challenges consider using M-PAiSA, a mobile payment service that often enables faster processing.
The Ministry of Education reassures that it is fully committed to ensuring all designated examination personnel receive their due compensation for their valuable service. This proactive approach not only promises financial resolution but also emphasizes the importance of collaboration and innovation in streamlining administrative processes.
