Three students from two different schools were apprehended yesterday for drug-related offenses. Assistant Commissioner of Police Livai Driu praised the teachers for their role in this situation, highlighting their crucial involvement in maintaining safety within the community.

“We commend the teachers, who are vital stakeholders in our efforts to ensure everyone’s safety. We will allow the legal process to unfold,” stated ACP Driu.

Additionally, Driu noted that another school is currently under investigation after its management discovered smoking devices in the dining hall and reported the incident to the police.

This incident underscores the importance of collaboration between law enforcement and educational institutions to create a safer environment for students. As authorities take a stand against drug use in schools, it reflects a community-wide commitment to addressing this pressing issue. With ongoing vigilance and teamwork, there is hope for a cleaner and more secure educational experience for all students.
