The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua has solidified its squad for the upcoming season by re-signing two pivotal forwards, Mesulame Dolokoto and Zuriel Togiatama. Dolokoto has extended his contract for two additional seasons, while Togiatama will remain with the franchise until 2026. Both players have been instrumental in the Drua’s performance since their debut season in 2022.

Drua’s General Manager Rugby, Baden Stephenson, expressed his enthusiasm regarding their commitment to the team. Dolokoto, a foundational player and leader, has made 33 appearances and has captained the side on several occasions. The 30-year-old expressed gratitude for the opportunity to continue with the club, stating, “I am extremely blessed… Time to make more memories and glory to God always.”

Togiatama, who has seen action in 37 matches since his debut against the Chiefs, was recently honored with the 2025 MOGUL Dausoko Award at the Drua Awards Night. The 26-year-old acknowledged his support system as integral to his success and expressed excitement for another year with his teammates: “I just want to thank God for blessing me… I’m excited for another year with the brothers.”

The retention of Dolokoto and Togiatama is significant for the Drua as they head into the next Super Rugby Pacific campaign, providing continuity and depth to their forward pack. This strategic decision underscores the organization’s commitment to maintaining a competitive edge while also being mindful of nurturing talent within its ranks.

Both players’ leadership and experience are expected to contribute to the team’s performance, fostering growth and development in the upcoming season. As the Drua seeks success in future matches, fans can look forward to seeing these athletes make a significant impact on the field.
