The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua has recently solidified its future by securing the contracts of two key forwards, Vilive Miramira and Mesake Vocevoce, until 2027. Miramira, who has been with the Drua since its inaugural season in 2022, has racked up 36 appearances and scored three tries. His skillset and adaptability in the forward pack were acknowledged with his inclusion in the Flying Fijians squad during the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Expressing his gratitude, Miramira remarked, “I’m grateful and blessed to sign again with the Drua. It means a lot to me and my family.”
Vocevoce has also quickly made an impression, earning the title of 2024 Pepsi Rookie of the Year. With 24 appearances and a recent debut try against the Queensland Reds, he has captured the hearts of fans and showcased his talent on the field. The Narewa, Nadi native has also begun to establish himself on the international scene, earning eight caps for the Flying Fijians since his debut against Tonga in 2024.
