Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s co-captain, Frank Lomani, is set to mark a significant milestone as he celebrates his 60th Super Rugby appearance tonight against the NSW Waratahs at Allianz Stadium in the second round of the competition. As an influential scrum half, Lomani will don the number nine jersey, bringing his considerable experience and leadership to the field as the Drua strive for a vital early-season victory in Australia.

Of his total 60 Super Rugby matches, 35 have been in Drua colors, while the other 25 were with the Melbourne Rebels, underscoring the extensive match experience he contributes to tonight’s match. Additionally, winger Manasa Mataele will also hit the 60-mark in his career during this game, having made his Drua debut just a week ago against Moana Pasifika. Mataele’s previous experience includes two matches for the Chiefs, 24 appearances for the Western Force, and 32 games with the Crusaders.

With both Lomani and Mataele reaching this notable milestone together in Sydney, the Drua are poised to capitalize on their wealth of experience as they aim to challenge the Waratahs on their home turf. The match is scheduled to kick off at 8:35 PM, and fans can catch the live broadcast on FBC Sports. This event not only highlights individual achievements but also reflects the team’s determination to make a mark early in the season.
