A recent drone strike in eastern Ukraine has resulted in the tragic deaths of twelve individuals near a company shuttle bus, according to regional authorities. Oleksandr Ganzha, the head of the region’s military administration, shared this initial report via Telegram. The strike, which injured seven others, targeted a vehicle transporting workers from the DTEK energy company, which condemned the attack as deliberate.

In addition to this incident, local officials reported that three other individuals lost their lives, and nine more were injured in separate Russian attacks that occurred overnight into Sunday. Notably, among the injured were two women who were affected while giving birth in a maternity hospital hit by another drone strike.

This distressing series of events highlights the ongoing volatility in the conflict, impacting civilians and essential services profoundly. As the situation develops, the international community continues to call for an end to hostilities and protection for non-combatants.
