Mesulame Dolokoto, a hooker for SWIRE Shipping Fijian Drua, is focused on increasing his playing time in the upcoming 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season. The native of Koroivonu, Cakaudrove, who has made 10 appearances with the FIJI Water Flying Fijians, aims to secure a starting position and make a greater contribution on the field.
“My personal target for 2025 is to work hard so I can have more game time,” Dolokoto declared. He has already begun preseason training under challenging conditions and is eager to compete with his teammates for more opportunities.
Looking back on the 2024 season, Dolokoto feels content with his progress but acknowledges that he can still improve. “This year (2024) was a good year. I’m happy and satisfied with what I achieved this season. Reaching the quarter-final stage was a significant milestone, even though we didn’t achieve our goal of making the semi-final,” he shared.
Despite the team’s shortfall in reaching the semi-finals, Dolokoto maintains a positive outlook and remains motivated. “I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but we have another season in 2025 to reach our goals,” he expressed.
