Labasa forward Rusiate Doidoi has received a call-up to join the Fiji National Football Team for the upcoming MSG Prime Minister’s Cup in the Solomon Islands. He is stepping in for Mosese Nabose of Tailevu Naitasiri, who had to withdraw due to work obligations.
Under the guidance of coach Marika Rodu, the Bula Boys have been in training since Sunday and are set to depart for the Solomon Islands tomorrow. Rodu has expressed confidence in the team’s capabilities, highlighting that Doidoi’s addition will bolster their offensive strength.

This will be followed by a match against Papua New Guinea on Sunday, December 15, at 5 PM. The team will then face the Solomon Islands Development team on Wednesday, December 18, at 7 PM, before concluding the group stage with a match against the Solomon Islands on Saturday, December 21, at 7 PM.
