Parveen Prasad, the Manager at KELL Investment Fiji Limited, reported steady sales driven by both local demand and exports. In a bid to maintain the festive spirit, kava prices have seen slight reductions, with offerings priced at $90 now available for $88, and those previously selling at $110 reduced to $108. This strategic pricing aims to make kava more accessible for families celebrating together.
Owner of Narendra Prasad Enterprise, Narendra Prasad, noted a similar trend, indicating that an increasing number of people are choosing grog as part of their Diwali festivities. The atmosphere is filled with excitement as homes are decorated, and the spirit of togetherness is embodied in the sharing of kava at family gatherings, uniting communities during this special occasion.
