Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Professor Biman Prasad, participated in a Bhajan Competition to support the ongoing construction of the Naag Deo Sthaan in Nukuloa, Savusavu. Last Saturday, the local community gathered at Narere Primary School to demonstrate their support for this important initiative.
The Naag Deo Sthaan is a legally recognized Hindu religious organization, with a committee formed by local mandalis who represent their religious groups in Savusavu. Despite the temple being temporarily closed for construction, the community continues to visit, reflecting their dedication and faith in Naag Deo Sthaan.
It is expected that the construction will be completed by the end of November. Community members who hold a deep belief in Naag Baba are eagerly anticipating the grand opening of the newly constructed temple, celebrating the realization of this long-awaited vision.
