The Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, has announced an extension to the application deadline for the $200 Back to School Support program. The new deadline is now set for next Friday, December 13, 2024, at 5 pm, extending the period by an additional week.
Initially opened on October 31, the application process was originally scheduled to close today at 5 pm. This extension provides an excellent opportunity for eligible parents and guardians who have not yet submitted their applications to do so.
The Ministry is strongly urging all who qualify to fill out the necessary forms and submit them through their respective schools. This support aims to alleviate some of the financial burden associated with returning to school, ensuring that students have a smoother transition back to their studies.
