Customs Crackdown: Ammo Interception Highlights Fiji’s Border Security Efforts

Customs officers at Nadi International Airport successfully intercepted undeclared ammunition from a passenger arriving on a flight from Los Angeles, highlighting ongoing efforts to enhance border security in Fiji. The operation was initiated based on targeted risk assessments and specific indicators identified by frontline officers.

Following the discovery, the passenger and their luggage were referred to the Border Police for further investigation.
