Marica Waqaniburotu celebrated significant success by being crowned both Miss Friendly North 2024 and Miss Charity during an event at Subrail Park in Labasa, which attracted thousands of attendees. She expressed her gratitude, dedicating her victories to her family, her steadfast supporters. Waqaniburotu emphasized that their love and encouragement have been her driving force, and acknowledged that all the competitors in this year’s festival deserved recognition as winners. She added that her crowns symbolize shared achievement with the queens who have come before her. Adi Volitikoro from the Labasa Town Council was named first runner-up, while second runner-up went to Vika Tadu from the Miss Northern Civil Service, who also received the title of Miss Photogenic.
