Police Minister Ioane Naivalurua has announced a comprehensive investigation into a significant incident involving a member of the Counter Narcotics Bureau (CNB), Apenisa Matadigo, who faces serious drug-related charges after a 4.8kg meth seizure. Matadigo, along with two accomplices, Viliame Nalagi and Are Tanai, appeared at the Nadi Magistrate Court where they were charged following the seizure.
Naivalurua expressed his concern over the troubling situation and stressed the importance of maintaining ethical standards within the CNB.
