The Coalition Government has earmarked $2 million in the 2024-2025 budget for the final stages of Govind Park’s restoration in Ba. The objective of this funding is to reinstate the venue as a central location for tournaments and social events, something the residents of Ba have been missing for the past six years.
In the preceding year, Deputy Prime Minister Biman Prasad voiced strong criticism over the project administration of Govind Park, attributing its failures to dismal management and oversight. He underscored the necessity for an exhaustive investigation into the implementation of the project.
