Defending his IBO championship title for the Asia Pacific region, Winston Hill is preparing for an intense match against Australian fighter Lachlan O’Shea at the South Pacific Boxing Promotion. Hill recognizes the challenge each opponent presents and views his upcoming fight as an unavoidable nightmare.

“Every fight I prepare for, I feel like the person in front of me is the most dangerous I’ve ever faced,” Hill commented. “This fight feels like one of those bad dreams where you can’t run away and can’t fight back.”

Hill is committed to a strategic game plan, focusing on exploiting O’Shea’s vulnerabilities. “This is it. In my mind, this guy is out to get me, and I’m fully preparing, like he’s the Boogeyman.”

Reflecting on previous fights, particularly with tough competitors like Jese Ravudi, Hill acknowledges the improvement and resilience gained from those experiences. “The first time I faced Jese, I thought of him as a bad guy who would knock me out. I got through the training and the fight, and when I faced him again, I knew he’d return stronger due to his experience.”

As the reigning Asia Pacific champion, Hill feels the pressure but is determined and ready to face any challenge that lies ahead.
