Teams showcased exceptional skill and determination, with key players stepping up as the contests intensified.

Nadi revived their past glory by securing the soccer title, defeating Lautoka 2-1. Votualevu High School teacher Sahil Naresh not only played a crucial role in his team’s victory but was also named player of the final. In netball, the host team Nadroga successfully defended their title against Rewa, with Karishma Dass receiving recognition as the best netball player.

In volleyball, Suva’s men’s team clinched the championship, overcoming Bua in straight sets, while Rewa’s women accomplished a remarkable victory over Suva to claim the women’s title, a first for Rewa in this category. Individual accolades included Wayne Fisher of Suva being recognized as the best player in men’s volleyball and Tavaita Daunakamakama of Rewa earning the best women’s volleyball player award.

The tournament also featured a veterans’ football competition where the Southern representatives triumphed over their Northern counterparts 1-0. Notably, the Southern veterans also secured the netball title against their Western rivals.

Assistant General Secretary Rajnesh Lingam praised all participating branches for their commitment and efforts, as well as the Nadroga branch for their outstanding organization of the event. He also acknowledged the Sports Committee’s dedication in making the tournament a success.

As the FTU prepares for Ba to host the 2026 Annual Conference, the positive spirit of competition fosters community engagement and sportsmanship, providing hope for future events. The lessons learned during this year’s tournament will undoubtedly pave the way for even stronger performances and tighter competitions in the years to come.
