Cardi B has canceled her performance at Atlanta’s ONE MusicFest due to a medical emergency that resulted in her hospitalization. The rapper, who recently welcomed her third child with her estranged husband Offset, announced the news just three days before the festival was set to take place.
In a post on Instagram on October 23, Cardi expressed her sadness over the cancellation, explaining that she had been recovering in the hospital and would not be able to perform as planned. She said, “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there.”
Despite not providing specifics about her health condition, Cardi reassured her fans that she would return “better and stronger soon” and thanked them for their understanding.
ONE MusicFest responded by showing support for Cardi, sharing her message on their Instagram and urging fans to keep her in their prayers for a quick recovery. They also mentioned that they were working on finding a replacement for her performance at the last minute.
In addition to her health challenges, Cardi has been navigating significant life changes, including her recent childbirth and ongoing divorce proceedings from Offset after seven years of marriage. She shares two other children, Kulture, 6, and Wave, 3, with him. Cardi has maintained a positive outlook, expressing gratitude for her family and emphasizing the idea that every ending leads to a new beginning.
