Burger King has once again demonstrated its commitment to youth engagement in sports by announcing its sponsorship of the 2025 Coke Games, contributing a total of $10,950. This arrangement features a cash donation of $3,450 FJD and an impressive $7,500 worth of meal vouchers intended to support the organization of the three-day athletics event in Fiji.

This partnership solidifies Burger King Fiji’s role as the official fast-food restaurant for the upcoming Coke Games, highlighting their ongoing dedication to nurturing young talent in the community. General Manager Kavinesh Reddy expressed excitement about the sponsorship, stating, “We believe in empowering the next generation and are proud to support these talented athletes. We have been a part of the Coca-Cola Games for a few years now and look forward to another successful year.”

The official handover of the sponsorship took place in the presence of Coca-Cola Games Sponsors Coordinator Lawrence Tikaram and Biu Colati from the Fiji Secondary School Athletics Association at Burger King Martintar. This move reflects Burger King’s broader mission of uplifting the community they serve and engaging with local initiatives that promote athleticism and youth participation.

In a related capacity, Burger King recently hosted a successful meet-and-greet event featuring members of Fiji’s national rugby sevens team, further showcasing their ongoing support for local sports. These kinds of initiatives not only foster community spirit but also strengthen the connections between businesses and athletes, promoting a vibrant sporting culture in Fiji.

With these efforts, Burger King is not just providing financial support but is actively involved in creating memorable experiences and encouraging the youth of Fiji to participate in athletics and sports, cultivating an environment of growth and empowerment for the next generation of athletes.
