Bula FC has strengthened its midfield by signing 19-year-old Australian talent Zacariah Harang, who becomes the club’s 15th addition ahead of the upcoming season.
Growing up in Sydney, Harang began playing football at the age of five, influenced significantly by his father, Danny Harang. He developed his skills in grassroots football and gradually moved on to elite development programs, making a name for himself at several notable Australian clubs. His journey includes stints with Plumpton Oakhurst SC, Werrington Croatia, Mount Druitt Town Rangers, and Sydney United. Most recently, he played for Blacktown Spartans, showcasing his talents across Under 16, Under 18, and Under 20 levels in the National Premier Leagues.
In addition to his outdoor achievements, Harang boasts a robust futsal background, having represented SD Raiders and Dural Warriors. This experience has enhanced his close control, game awareness, and decision-making skills in tight situations.
On the national stage, Harang has worn the NSW Metro colors at various championships and represented Australia internationally, competing in regional events like the Pacific Community Cup and the Sangam Games in the past two years.
Harang expressed his excitement about this new chapter at Bula FC, stating, “Acquiring a professional contract with Bula FC feels like the fulfillment of a childhood dream. I’m incredibly proud and grateful for this opportunity at just 19. I’m excited to represent the club and give everything on and off the pitch. I also want to thank my parents for their support from day one.”
Bula FC officials are optimistic that Harang’s technical prowess, versatility, and competitive spirit will bring a fresh dynamism to the squad as they prepare for a strong showing in the upcoming season. This move not only marks a significant personal milestone for Harang but also adds valuable depth to the team, aligning with the club’s ambitions for the future.
