Digicel Fiji Bula Boys Captain Roy Krishna will not participate in the opening match of the FIFA International “A” Friendlies Tri-Nations Series 2024 against the Solomon Islands. He is currently in India getting ready for the new season of the Indian Super League with Odisha FC and is expected to join the team for their second match against Hong Kong-China in Lautoka.
Team manager Kartik Reddy informed that the squad has commenced their second week of training under head coach Rob Sherman. “The boys are undergoing two training sessions daily, concentrating on strength and conditioning in the morning and tactical and technical skills in the afternoon,” Reddy stated.
Fiji will play against the Solomon Islands on Monday, September 2, at 7 pm at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. The Solomon Islands are scheduled to face Hong Kong-China on Thursday, September 5, also at 7 pm at the same venue. Fiji’s final match will be against Hong Kong-China on Sunday, September 8, at 3 pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
Ticket prices are set at $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10.
