IBO Asia Pacific super welterweight champion Winston Hill is set to face Australia’s Lachlan O’Shea in the main event tonight at Prince Charles Park in Nadi. Hill weighed in at 68.45 kilograms, while O’Shea tipped the scales at 69.8 kilograms during the official weigh-in yesterday.

Hill is eager for a double celebration, as his brother Jonathan Hill is competing against Siliveni Nawai for the Fiji super middleweight title on the undercard. “We are ready to dominate our fights as we have been spending a long time together training in camp,” he stated. Hill expressed excitement for the event, noting it features significant fights and titles. He added, “Prince Charles Park will come alive with the ring announcer and Sonny Bill Williams present. Team Hill is here, and it’s different since I’m fighting alongside my brother who is aiming for a national title.”

In another bout, Sebastian ‘The Sniper’ Singh expressed confidence about winning the IBO Asia Pacific cruiserweight title against Australia’s knockout specialist ‘King’ Tonga Tongotongo. Singh, who also holds the World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific cruiserweight title, weighed in at 89.75 kilograms, while Tongotongo came in at 87.55 kilograms. “I’m excited for the hard yards we’ve put in with my opponent,” Singh said, noting their good health and adrenaline. He refrained from making predictions, simply stating that “whatever happens, happens.”

In the super middleweight title fight, holder Siliveni Nawai weighed in at 75.5 kilograms alongside Winston Hill who was at 74.8 kilograms. Nawai, known as the Hands of Stone, commented, “I have prepped for this fight and I’m ready for what Hill has in store for me.”
