Bounty Rum Takes Center Stage at Stir It Up Fiji Festival 2024!

Paradise Beverages’ Bounty Rum label has been announced as the major sponsor of the third annual Stir It Up Fiji 2024 Music Festival scheduled for next month. This year’s festival will see a notable venue change, taking place at the VOU Hub in Denarau, as highlighted in a statement from the company.

Mike Spencer, general manager of Paradise Beverages, mentioned that this sponsorship aligns with their commitment to supporting community events. “We have been involved in various community initiatives, including the Fiji Bitter 7s Series Tournaments and fashion shows. By supporting this exceptional music festival, we aim to elevate our involvement in the music industry,” said Mr. Spencer.

Since its inception in 1980, the Bounty Rum brand has established itself as the “Spirit of the South Pacific,” known for its high-quality production using refined sugar and exceptional water. Spencer pointed out the brand’s dedication to quality, which has earned it numerous awards, including a Gold medal at the 2024 International Wine and Spirits Competition.

The BOUNTY Stir It Up Festival, organized by the Wailoaloa Beach Club, will showcase a roster of prominent international artists such as DJ Noiz, Kenyon Brown, Binna Butta, and Donelle Brown. Festival organizer and managing director of Wailoaloa Beach, Lara Khan, expressed enthusiasm about the move to the new venue, stating that it reflects their commitment to enhancing the festival experience for attendees.

While they have enjoyed hosting the festival at their original location for the past two years, Khan is eager to see how the new venue will provide a more exciting atmosphere for festival-goers. “As Stir It Up Fiji continues to grow, we needed a larger space to accommodate the increasing number of attendees and to facilitate a wider range of activities. The VOU Hub offers an ideal environment for this growth, allowing us to maintain an exceptional festival experience,” she commented.
