Ba’s Men in Black: A Team at a Crossroads

Ba FA President Azam Ali has stated that the senior men’s team is still a work in progress under the guidance of Timoci Seru, who has been in charge for the past two weeks.

“Timoci Seru has been part of the coaching panel for some time now, and I am pleased with how he managed the team in his first match against Navua,” said Ali.

He acknowledged the challenges of playing away against Navua but praised the team’s performance, resulting in a draw.

Despite this, recent performances have raised concerns among fans and analysts, as the once-dominant Men in Black have struggled with consistency and have not been able to recapture their former success.

Ali recognized these worries, emphasizing that the team takes feedback from critics into account.

Looking forward, Ba plans to field their youth players against Nadroga this weekend in the DFPL Round 14, seeking the results they aspire to achieve.

The match will take place at the Fiji FA Ba Academy Grounds on Sunday at 3 PM.
