August Social Welfare Payments Hit Snag: What Recipients Need to Know

The Ministry of Women, Children and Social Protection has announced that payments for Social Welfare allowances scheduled for August will be delayed due to the transition into the Government’s new financial year.

The Ministry expresses its apologies to all recipients for any inconvenience this may cause and urges patience and understanding as they work to resolve the outstanding payments within the week.

Efforts are being made to expedite the process, and the Ministry aims for all recipients to receive their allowances by the end of business tomorrow, Tuesday, August 6.

Starting in September, all monthly payments will return to their regular schedule.
