The NZFFI Auckland All Stars triumphed in the Pacific Community Cup, successfully defending their title by defeating the Manukau All Stars 2-0 at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

The final saw early goals from guest players Eber Ramirez and Nicolas Bobadilla, which set the pace for a decisive win under the guidance of coach Josaia Bukalidi. Despite a determined effort from the Manukau All Stars in the second half, their attempts to find the net were thwarted by a robust defense led by Mohammed Shuaib Khan and Gabriel Matanisiga.

Earlier in the tournament, Auckland All Stars secured a place in the final with a 2-0 victory over the host team, Lautoka, while the Manukau All Stars accomplished the same feat by defeating the USA All Stars by an identical score.

As winners of the tournament, the Auckland All Stars received $10,000 FJD, while the Manukau All Stars took home $3,000. Mohammed Nabeel from Auckland was awarded Player of the Tournament, with goalkeeper Beniamino Mateinaqara receiving the Golden Glove and Garbhan Coughlan from Manukau securing the Golden Boot for scoring seven goals. Furthermore, the AuFFI All Stars were recognized as the Fairest Team.

This victory not only highlights the talent and dedication of the Auckland All Stars but also underscores the growing competitive spirit within Pacific football, promising an exciting future for the sport in the region.
