Sachin Dutt, the President of New Zealand Fiji Football Incorporated (NZFFI), has praised both the Auckland All Stars and Manukau All Stars for their remarkable performances in the recently concluded Pacific Community Cup held in Lautoka. Dutt expressed pride in both teams for reaching the finals for the second year in a row, highlighting their status as exemplary representatives of NZFFI.

The Auckland All Stars triumphed over the Manukau All Stars with a 2-0 scoreline, making history as the first overseas team to claim the Pacific Community Cup title on Fijian soil. Dutt extended congratulations to the players, officials, and sponsors, emphasizing that their combined efforts led to this significant achievement.

“I couldn’t be prouder to watch our two teams compete in the final right here in our homeland,” stated Dutt. He acknowledged the continued support from his executive team and board members, as well as the essential contributions from sponsors that made their success possible.

He also praised the dedication of the team officials, particularly Bobby Khan and Kartik Reddy, for their commitment to ensuring the teams’ welfare and motivation throughout the tournament. Dutt recognized AUFFI Australia for their excellent organization of the event and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Fiji Football Association for their warm hospitality.

With this victory, the NZFFI Auckland All Stars have now secured the Pacific Cup title for the fourth consecutive year, demonstrating their dominant presence in the tournament.

This achievement reflects the growing talent and competitiveness of Fijian football on the international stage, and the collaboration between teams and sponsors illustrates the strong community support behind these athletes. The ongoing success of the Auckland All Stars serves as an inspiration for future teams and players in both New Zealand and Fiji.
