Bula FC has officially announced the signing of midfielder Asivorosi Rabo, marking a significant addition to the team as they prepare for the inaugural OFC Pro League, set to commence in January 2026. Rabo becomes the club’s 14th Warrior, bringing with him a wealth of talent and potential at just 20 years old.
Hailing from a talented football lineage, Rabo’s journey began at the age of eight in New Zealand, guided by his father, Pita Rabo, a former national star. After returning to Fiji in 2013, he showcased his abilities at Krishna Vedic Primary School before moving up the ranks in Rewa’s youth system. His skill and determination earned him spots with Bhawani Dayal Arya College across various age divisions, including U15, U17, and U19.
Rabo made an impression in Rewa’s senior team by 2023, where he remained until recently. Despite the challenges posed by his family’s legacy, he has managed to carve out his own identity in football through hard work and dedication. His resilience was particularly tested after facing a significant injury that sidelined him for several months. With support from his loved ones and a renewed focus, he returned to the field stronger than ever.
As Rabo embarks on this new chapter with Bula FC, he views it as a pivotal point in his career. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, stating, “Getting this chance to play for Bula FC could be a turning point in my career. Playing professionally is something I’ve dreamt of, and now the opportunity is real. I’m grateful to the coach, the management, and everyone who believes in me. This year, we’re ready to achieve something special.”
Rabo’s journey reflects not only his personal triumphs but also his commitment to the sport, making his signing a promising development for Bula FC as they gear up for their upcoming league campaign.
