Recently, he embarked on a journey to the remote island of Rotuma on December 20, where he has fully immersed himself in the local culture and landscape while engaging in his passion for painting.
As part of a volunteer group with the Läje Rotuma Initiative (LRI), Lambert is working to promote environmental education and community awareness among the island’s youth. This initiative helps empower local children by encouraging them to express their stories through various forms of art, including murals and fabric painting. As Lambert describes, “I traveled to Rotuma as an artist and volunteer for Läje Rotuma Initiative,” indicating his commitment to both his craft and the community’s development.
Living in the picturesque village of Noatau, Lambert has enjoyed the hospitality and rich traditions of Rotuma. His experiences have included celebrating the festive season with local residents through dancing and feasting, which he fondly recalls as a time of “lots of feasting and dancing”—highlighting the close-knit nature of the community.

He is particularly grateful for the welcome he received, stating, “I am deeply grateful and humbled.
