Alcaraz managed to convert four out of twelve break points, defeating Khachanov in just 96 minutes, which allowed him to rise to No. 2 in the rankings, surpassing Alexander Zverev. The Spaniard is set to face third-seeded Russian Daniil Medvedev, who earned a win over Italy’s Flavio Cobolli with a score of 6-2, 6-4 and recorded five aces.
