Ailava Samuels, the 1st Runner-up of Miss Fiji 2025, has been selected to represent Fiji at the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant next month in Nadi. The announcement was made during a press conference held this morning by the Miss Fiji Secretariat in Suva.
This decision comes after Peggy Ravusiro, the crowned winner who represented Labasa, was unable to fulfill her role due to ongoing contractual negotiations that ultimately did not reach a conclusion. Ravusiro communicated her formal decision last week, indicating that she would not participate in the regional competition.
In line with the pageant’s regulations, the opportunity to represent Fiji now falls to the first runner-up, which is Ailava Samuels. Eager to take on this role, Samuels has accepted the offer and is set to begin her preparations for the prestigious event.
