The 21-year-old was presented with the Best Student Award for her Bachelor of Commerce degree, a moment that brought tears of joy to her parents, Sunita Devi and Ram Sagar, who traveled from Nasau, Nadi to witness the occasion.
Ms. Sagar, a dedicated student specializing in Economics and Accounting at Fiji National University’s Namaka Campus, attributes her success to relentless discipline and hard work. Reflecting on her upbringing, she shared how her family faced financial difficulties, with her father taking on various casual jobs to ensure that she and her siblings could continue their education. “Education was a challenge, but I prioritized my studies despite the hardships,” she stated.
