The Coalition Government has dedicated $2 million from the 2024-2025 Budget towards the completion of Govind Park in Ba. The funding is aimed at re-establishing the venue as a central location for tournaments and community events, something the people of Ba have not had for the past six years.
Deputy Prime Minister Biman Prasad previously voiced criticisms about the Govind Park project’s management just last year, describing it as a debacle due to ineffective oversight. He has continually stressed the necessity for a comprehensive investigation into how the project has been carried out.
