For aspiring golfers, Ikeda advises them to start practicing at a young age, remain committed, and never lose hope. Reflecting on his own journey, he shared that he played golf for enjoyment but was always focused on improving his game.

Although his arrival on December 26 was met with heavy rains, he attributed his initial disappointment to learning to embrace ‘Fiji time,’ a concept he has come to appreciate. The weather cleared by December 28, allowing him to explore Denarau and play a round at the Denarau golf club.
